Here you will find Charles Wild Antiques, well respected upholstery and antique restoration business. This extraodinary little shop close to the edge of Ilkley Moor looks as if it has been forgotten about for many a year and brings back memories of a bygone era. In the premises every nook and cranny is packed with antique -period furniture all in different stages of repair and finish. Just sitting there waiting to be restored. There's never a shortage of antique furniture for sale, including Victorian nursing chairs, chaise longue and knoll settees.

New stock arrives weekly, so there is always plenty to choose from in shapes, size and styles to suit all tastes. No restoration job is too big or too small from making new legs for furniture to replacing broken casters. Pride and great care is taken to match replacedment parts with the originals. Traditional materials and methods are used; all hand crafted by this craftsman. Horse hair is still used, and is recycled so you could say that this job is doing it's bit to be environmentally friendly. Charles Wild has the experience and expertise to work in all kinds of materials and fabrics including leather.
